In linux kernel since version 2.6.20 (release Date: 2007-02-04)
This driver supports all EATA/DMA-compliant SCSI host adapters. DPT
ISA and all EISA I/O addresses are probed looking for the "EATA"
signature. The addresses of all the PCI SCSI controllers reported
by the PCI subsystem are probed as well.
You want to read the start of <file:drivers/scsi/eata.c> and the
SCSI-HOWTO, available from
<http://www.tldp.org/docs.html#howto>.
To compile this driver as a module, choose M here: the
module will be called eata.
